The Kelowna Ogopogo Swim Club had the second largest showing at the annual Okanagan Regional Swim Meet bringing 43 racers keen to show off their skills and race amongst their peers. Special congratulations to the Division 4 girls relay team of Isabelle Cloutier, Madelaine Cloutier, Grace Sebulsky and Lauren Griffin-Levine who placed 1st in both the 200m Medley Relay and the 200m Freestyle Relay and are now headed to the Provincials. The Kelowna Disabled Sailing Association – Okanagan Branch (DSA) is hosting the 2017 RE/MAX (Title Sponsor) Mobility Cup at the Kelowna Yacht Club September 11-15/2017 with people coming from all over North America. This National Championship Regatta has become Canada’s showcase for the development of sailing programs for people with disabilities. This is the first time the event will be held in Kelowna and Larry Clark, sponsorship chair would like to speak to anyone who might be interested in sponsoring some of the aspects of the event. DSA has been offering sailing sessions since 1993 and run programs five days per week with five sail boats and certified instructors from May to September.
